Xiao Liuqiu (小琉球)

Above the surface

Xiao Liuqiu is a small island off Donggang (near Kaohsiung). Ferries run regularly; on the island you rent a scooter. Beaches, Vase Rock, and the famous “diving island” vibe. Plenty of guesthouses and eateries; we often do 2–3 day trips (e.g. Lambai/Xiao Liuqiu LNY Trip).

Getting there: Ferry from Donggang; book in advance on holidays. We coordinate meet-up and accommodation for group trips.

Below the surface

Reef and sandy areas with frequent green sea turtle encounters. Also reef fish, nudibranchs, and macro. Several named sites (Bat Cave, Lambai, etc.) suit different levels; depths roughly 5–18 m. Visibility is generally good. Popular for courses and fun dives; we run Fish ID and other specialties here.
